OH MAN, great food. This place is kind of hidden and I honestly forgot about it until I searched "Indian Food" since I was in the mood. This place is a bit strange to order from. When you call they ask "do you want to order from Mehndi or Ming" which Ming is the place next door. Interesting that the same person takes orders for both places. Is it like the same kitchen? And then going there is also odd because you can't use the front door - you need to go around to the back. I opened the wrong door and went in some like supply closet. When I finally entered the building you enter like a foyer where you can go to either Mehndi or Ming. Then you pass this room that says "office". I passed it because- why would you pick up food from an office? There were printers and desks and other "office" things going on. Little did I know I need to enter the office to pick up my food. I was very confused. The office people were very nice though! The food made up for this strange experience. Sooo tasty. I got my "typical" order that I'm sure many others get - tikka masala, naan, and samosas. I really need to try other dishes, but these are always a hit. The tikka masala was so flavorful and the chicken was soft. The naan was wonderfully soft and chewy. And the samosas were also great. I wish they were a little smaller and a little crunchier. A bit dough-y, but I would get them again. I will be back!

Mehndi was great! While I visited Ming (Pan-Asian restaurant next door), since the two restaurants share a kitchen, our group could go with either choice of cuisine! Note: this flexibility is only available for parties of 7 or more. I went with the Executive Lunch Special from the Mehndi menu-- 2 appetizers, and entree, and an accompaniment. My selections were as follows: Vegetable Samosa: Very flaky pastry with a primarily potato filling along with other veggies in a triangular shape. The flavor and the flake together was amazing! Chicken Tikka Masala: Absolutely delightful. Not too spicy while simultaneously being packed with spice and flavor. Perfect for a cold, windy, snowy day in Morristown. Garlic Naan: I mean it's garlic naan-- it was fantastic. Even though we only came with 6 people, our server was great and allowed us to choose from both menus. All in all, I will be visiting Ming/Mendhi again without a doubt. Keep up the good work!

The food and the service was awesome. This is my new favorite Indian cuisine spot. I ordered a spicy chicken tikka - and it was so delicious! The staff member Sam was so friendly and attentive! He noticed I had left a lot of the sauce and thought it was too spicy (I did it because I'm on a diet) so he brought me lava cake! He was so nice and I felt so bad thinking I made him believe I didn't like the food - I loved it I was trying so hard not to eat too much because I need to fit into a dress lol. Thank you Sam and Mehndi - you guys are awesome and I'll be back!

Top notch authentic Indian cuisine! Food-decor-music-people. It was a great dining experience from start to finish. Located in downtown Morristown- next to the Hyatt hotel. It was hard to find, but parking is located underground and the restaurant validated parking. The restaurant opens at 5 pm, the time I went and it was empty at first but quickly got busy as time went on. Our waiter Sam was enthusiastic and was knowledgeable on all the dishes. We started out with the mango and ginger mock tail, a great choice with a kick. For appetizers we got the sizzling hot chicken plate, mango shrimp, and samosas. That alone was filling, but we kept it going. For entrees we got tikki massala, lamb, various flavors of rice, and an array of different flavored naan bread that I didn't even know existed. For dessert, we finished it off with chocolate lava cake. It was a lot to finish, but it made good for leftovers. All the food options had so much flavor, but nothing overbearing or too spicy. Highly recommend and will return.

Had an amazing vegetarian friendly dinner with my bestie earlier this week. Staff was very attentive, Sam was an amazing waiter! He checked in regularly and didn't rush us through our courses or drinks We ordered Vegetable samosas along with Bhel Puri to start along with a Mango mojito and a spicy chili margarita. Samosas were large and perfectly cooked - not greasy at all. The drinks were expertly crafted and delicious! The Bhel Puri was delicious and size was great for sharing. For dinner we shared garlic naan and paneer makhani with peas pullao. This was the first time I had paneer makhani and it will definitely be on my regular ordering moving forward. The garlic naan was the best I've had in years ! Medium heat for the makhani was good - if you like spicy I'd recommend going up one more (which I may next time!) Portion sizes were excellent, we felt super satisfied and maybe a little too full! Sam graciously surprised us with a delicious chocolate molten cake (which I would highly recommend). Can't wait to go back and try more dishes here- super authentic food and great ambiance. The host was warm and welcoming along with our server Sam, who was attentive and kind
